Three weeks ago, a cute little puppy named Rocco was discovered in a terrible state on the side of a road in Seville. Thankfully, he was rescued and rushed to our hospital for immediate medical attention. His diagnosis was not good – he had four serious diseases including leptospirosis, anaplasmosis, leishmaniasis, and filariasis or heartworm sickness. However, with proper treatment and care, Rocco’s health has improved greatly since his arrival at our hospital. We are delighted to share with you an update on his progress that we think will bring a smile to your face.
As we witness Rocco’s recovery, we can’t help but express our gratitude towards animal rescue organisations like ours. Our organisation, We are Spain, aims to save and rehabilitate animals that are in need. Our team is devoted to rescuing animals that have been abandoned, tortured, or abused by heartless people. We share our animal rescue activities on various platforms such as YouTube and Facebook to showcase how we rescue animals, provide them with medical attention, and give them the care they need to recover.
Although our videos are straightforward, they have managed to resonate with countless individuals across the globe. The outpouring of support has been truly remarkable and has served as a driving force in our efforts to aid animals in distress. Nonetheless, like many other animal welfare groups, we face financial difficulties that make it challenging to keep going.
The current year has presented us with numerous challenges. The ongoing conflict in Ukraine has caused economic setbacks across Europe, making it difficult for families to manage their finances. Consequently, the donations we receive from people and other organizations have declined significantly, which is hindering our efforts to provide proper care to the animals under our supervision. Despite these difficulties, we remain steadfast in our commitment to rescuing and rehabilitating these animals.
We understand that a lot of our loyal followers have been supporting us for over 10 years and are currently facing tough times themselves. It’s not easy for us to ask for your assistance, but we must in order to provide for the animals that rely on us. They need our care, but we can’t do it alone.
