Upon reaching the Dog Rescue Shelter in Mladenovac, Serbia, a staff member was informed of a dire situation. A mother dog and her litter were said to be on the brink of death in a far-off location. Despite the odds, the employee followed their instincts and ventured out to find them. While initially suspecting they might be in an abandoned warehouse, the vastness of the surrounding area made locating the puppies seem unlikely.
The man stumbled upon a heartbreaking sight in the warehouse as he stumbled upon a mother dog and her pups who had been left behind without any food or water for days. It was clear that the furry family had been abandoned there, surrounded by discarded cement and sand bags. The mother dog appeared to be diseased, and her young ones were weak and unwell. As the rescuer approached, the 2-year-old dog trembled with fear.
The mother dog’s health had declined gradually and as a result, she was unable to save her puppies. The man who rescued them noticed that both the mother and her offspring were suffering from severe demodectic mange. They were taken to a shelter where they received therapeutic baths to eliminate parasites. This enabled them to be adopted by caring families. Once the puppies have fully recovered, they will be available for adoption.
Update: Good news! All of the little puppies have found their forever homes and have been adopted.
