Due to the depth and narrowness of the well, animal rescuers were needed to safely retrieve the puppy.
A helpless little pup found himself trapped in a cramped area with water all around him. Although the water wasn’t deep enough to drown him, it was still a precarious situation that put the puppy’s life at risk. But thanks to the quick thinking of rescuers, they were able to reach him using ropes and bring him to safety.
When they finally got to him, the puppy was shivering uncontrollably from being soaked through and overwhelmed with anxiety. The rescuers quickly dried him off with a warm towel and placed him near a bonfire to help him warm up. Joe shouted out to the canine to reassure it of imminent help. The young dog had fallen into a well inside the cave, and without prompt assistance, its life hung in the balance. Contrary to the Indian puppy, this dog had enough room to maneuver, but its survival remained uncertain if left unattended.
Joe could not bear to leave the dog behind, but he had to consider the incoming storm and the late hour. He tried to create an escape route by sliding a log down to the well, hoping the dog could climb out. His efforts proved futile, and he instead shared his packed food with the animal. Determined to rescue the dog, Joe called for nearby help, and a few people joined him with tools to ensure a safe operation. They made a rappel and lowered one of them into the cavern. According to the rescuer, the dog was overjoyed to see them and showed no signs of injury or sickness. Joe never gave up on his mission, and his efforts paid off in the end.
Upon retrieving the puppy from the cave, the rescuers immediately searched for any information that could lead to her rightful owner. Luckily, a collar with the pet’s owner’s contact details was found. The puppy displayed evident signs of joy as she wagged her tail and ate her food heartily. Joe revealed that the dog was left without food or water for an uncertain amount of time. Shockingly, the little pup had been missing for three entire weeks, which explained her malnourished appearance. The team returned the dog to her owner on the same day, finally allowing her to bask in the comfort of her own home.
