The frightened baby trembled from the biting cold and hunger pangs. Passersby took photographs, but none extended a helping hand. Suddenly, a woman crouched down beside the little one.
DAR Animal Rescue was informed about a tiny dog who lived in isolation and would often seek refuge under a bench. People discovered her and posted her picture on social media, pleading for assistance. Surprisingly, nobody came forward to rescue her despite the desperate plea. The helpless canine was so small that she would often hide in the mud. It was disheartening to see how she was abandoned without any support.
One of the rescue team members from DAR came forward to assist the injured puppy. She couldn’t fathom the reason why the poor animal was abandoned to suffer alone. As she approached the site, she was taken aback to see a fragile lady weeping with no means of defense. The puppy’s condition was quite severe, and it seemed like its life was hanging by a thread.
The individual who aided her gently placed her inside the car and covered her with a cozy blanket. It was time to head to the veterinarian. Once they arrived and she was positioned on the examining table, the vet carefully removed the numerous ticks that had been feasting on her blood. Sadly, this was not the first time she had been in this condition. Even her eyes were affected, making her situation even more pitiful. The vet attempted to help her stand on her own, but she was too weak to do so. This used to be a common occurrence for her, as the parasites were constantly draining her of blood, resulting in anemia. Finally, the puppy was given food and water, and she appeared quite content! No one knows for certain how long it had been since she had last eaten.
They tirelessly work 24/7 to ensure that the child is recovered from a horrible situation. Although the future remains uncertain, the child’s present safety and well-being provide a hopeful outlook for what’s to come.
Let’s send some positive vibes towards this adorable creature and hope she gets the chance to serve in the army. And while we’re at it, let’s not forget to support our local animal rescues and shelters too! Working together can truly make a difference.
