It’s heart-wrenching to witness the terrible condition of stray dogs left to fend for themselves. But, it’s rare to come across a mother dog as brave, tough, and dedicated to her little ones as Si Paw.
The owner of this dog heartlessly left her to fend for herself and she unfortunately suffered a tragic incident where a train crushed her hind legs. However, Si Bao’s life took a positive turn when she gave birth to four adorable and strong puppies. They became her reason to live and brought hope to her otherwise miserable existence.
Si Bao has been able to regain a sense of happiness in life since becoming a parent. With a determined and unwavering mindset, Si Bao takes great care in looking after his children. He keeps a watchful eye on them as he moves around on all fours.
Jill Robinson’s animal rescue charity comes to the aid of Si Bao and his family, making the brave mother dog their animal ambassador. Thanks to this stroke of luck, Si Bao is able to start a new life with his surviving child at the organization’s headquarters, instead of struggling to survive by scavenging for scraps from passing trains. Sadly, only Moody, one of Si Bao’s puppies, made it through the ordeal.
Moreover, Si Bao, who now goes by the name Lelly, intends to have wheeled prosthetic legs for improved mobility. On another note, three out of four dogs under Lily’s care have succumbed to high fevers, with only Moody remaining. Nonetheless, Lily is presently relishing her position as Animal Ambassador with Animal Asia.
Lelly is a prime example of an unbreakable pup who perseveres through tough times, despite her young age.
