Zipper was discovered wandering the streets as a stray and taken to a shelter where her unique trait caught the attention of the staff. Despite her friendly and usual personality, the 8-year-old pup has a deformed jaw that gives her an adorable and unparalleled grin.
Zipper’s unique grin doesn’t seem to faze her at all. She likes to eat regularly and relishes any kind of reward, all while being completely oblivious to the fact that she is quite rare.
According to Erin Webb, a Huntsville Animal Services volunteer, the reason behind the jaw malformation of the animal is still unclear. The big underbite and the considerable gap between its teeth are noticeable features of the creature.
Due to flea allergies, Zipper has experienced significant fur loss. Additionally, it appears that she has given birth to several litters of puppies in the past. Sadly, she may have been abandoned because she was no longer wanted or needed. However, Zipper’s new shelter family understands her value and is eager to assist her in finding a permanent home. Although she may appear unique compared to other dogs, her distinctive smile is alluring and prompts curiosity in others.
