Hey there! I go by the name of Naki’o and even though I’m a mixed breed dog, my life didn’t start off on the right paw. In fact, I lost all four of my paws due to frostbite which made it quite challenging for me to move around on my rounded stumps. But, with the help of my new owner and some fancy prosthetics, I am now able to enjoy life to the fullest by running, playing and doing everything that a regular dog does.
Thanks to cutting-edge advancements in technology, Naki’o has become a bionic pup who can walk confidently with the aid of four prosthetic limbs. His story began when his previous owner abandoned him and his littermates in an abandoned home during the winter season. Sadly, his fellow pups succumbed to the cold, leaving Naki’o as the only survivor. However, he suffered severe frostbite, resulting in the amputation of all four of his paws.
Luckily, Naki’o’s fortunes turned around when he was rescued and brought to a shelter in Nebraska. It was there that he caught the eye of Christie Tomlinson, a woman who fell head over heels for the charming little pup. However, as she watched Naki’o struggle to move around on his stumps, Christie knew she had to do something to help him. And so, she launched a fundraising campaign to gather enough funds to purchase prosthetic limbs for Naki’o. Thanks to the generosity of donors, they were able to raise enough money to provide Naki’o with four new prosthetic limbs, giving him the chance to walk once again.
After an extensive period of recovery, Naki’o was finally able to take his first steps on his prosthetic limbs.
